Doing business responsibly
At Urbansoul Design, we understand that the way we work matters.
As a digital agency, we have responsibilities to our team, our clients, our local community and the environment. That means making practical choices that reduce waste, support people and help us run the business in a fair and responsible way.
Supporting our team
We aim to provide a flexible, supportive working environment where people can do good work without unnecessary pressure.
That includes:
- Flexible working patterns where possible
- A sensible approach to working hours
- Support for family and personal commitments
- Opportunities for apprentices and young people to develop their careers
We want people to build long-term skills, enjoy their work and contribute properly to the business.
Reducing our environmental impact
We take practical steps to reduce waste and limit our environmental impact wherever we can.
This includes:
- Reducing paper use through online proposals and digital documents
- Encouraging online meetings where appropriate to reduce travel
- Separating recyclable materials
- Offering green hosting powered by renewable energy
- Providing print options using recycled or sustainably sourced paper on request
For print projects, we can also work with suppliers that use recycled or FSC-certified paper and follow recognised environmental standards, including ISO 14001 where available.
Supporting our community
We value the relationships we have built with clients, suppliers and local organisations over many years.
We continue to support charitable causes, including Springhill Hospice, and encourage our team to volunteer where they can, including involvement with Rochdale Sixth Form College and local school governing committees.
Responsible choices, practical action
We do not treat sustainability and social responsibility as a slogan. For us, it is about making sensible decisions every day — how we work, how we support people, how we reduce waste and how we contribute to the community around us.
