We were delighted to get the call to help Oldham Training Centre (OTC) with their new website. OTC is a well-established training centre delivering engineering training, apprenticeships and e-courses to business and individuals.
Oldham Training Centres online presence had become outdated, and with big plans for the future, OTC was keen to introduce a fresh, modern and intuitive digital approach, that really focused on the end user.
We worked closely with the OTC team at each stage of the design and development process, early stages of research and discussions helped us develop a vast understanding of there needs and requirements.
Through this process, we learnt OTC’s website had to accommodate the needs of three key user groups. Users ranged from students leaving college or school looking for an apprenticeship, through to business owners looking for professional training opportunities. It was important that each specific audience found the relevant information they were looking for promptly and efficiently.
We also worked in partnership with OTC to help streamline some internal processes by building automation into the website via a digital apprenticeship application process. Not only did developing a digital application form make handling data easier for OTC staff, it also meant applicants could simply and accurately input information through an intuitive 8 part multiform.
The new website is built using WordPress CMS and is fully responsive on all the latest devices and browsers.
